Mentor Session

Failed Part 3? Let’s Reset, Refocus and Rebuild

A failed Part 3 does not define your future as an instructor.

Many excellent ADIs have experienced setbacks during qualification.

What matters is understanding what happened and creating a structured plan for improvement.

Support Available For:

✅ Candidates who have failed Part 3

✅ PDIs requiring additional training

✅ PDIs seeking an alternative trainer

✅ Completion of the minimum 20-hour training requirement

✅ Confidence rebuilding before a retest

What Happens First?

We’ll review:

  • Previous test reports
  • Lesson planning
  • Instructional technique
  • Risk management
  • Strengths and development areas

From there, we’ll create a bespoke programme focused on the areas that will make the biggest difference.

Why Alternative Training Can Help

Sometimes a fresh perspective is all that’s needed.

Different trainers notice different things.

An independent review can often identify opportunities that have previously been overlooked, helping you progress more quickly and with greater confidence.

Mentor Programme

As your mentor I will:

  • Challenge constructively
  • Support professionally
  • Encourage reflection
  • Provide objective feedback
  • Help you develop your own instructional style

The goal is not to create another copy of me.

The goal is to help you become the best version of yourself.

He showed me how to keep every lesson truly client-centred and how to help learners achieve their goals by breaking tasks down into smaller, manageable steps.
